The Memphis based rapper Key G***k released his new album Project X on June 19th & he’ll be stopping by Lunchbox Records to sign copies for you ON MONDAY JUNE 22ND AT 3PM! To mark three decades, we’re revisiting ‘The Virginia Years.’ Next up in the series are wunderkinds The Union of a Man and a Woman’s debut (and only) album, ‘The Sound of the Union of a Man and a Woman,’ now available on vinyl for the first time.

Blistering avant-punk made by Virginia teens, The Union tore its way into Charlottesville legend in 1998. Formed by Neil Campbell, John Harouff ((now recording as ) and Kurt Beals (a founding member of Pterodactyl) while still high school students, the band was signed to Jagjaguwar after just one open mic performance

The new RSDE pressing faithfully recreates the original LP in a gatefold jacket and features all 12 tracks, including the hit “Miss Murder.” This LP is pressed on standard-weight Transparent Smoke-colored vinyl.
