Rambo Family Gospel Hour is BACK!!!!!

We couldn’t be happier to announce that we will be doing our first livestream event in over a year on Friday November 21 at 7pm est!! Join us for an evening of songs of gratitude & encouragement as we come together finally after way too long!

Momma Reba Rambo will be with us & we will be singing some brand new Rambo Women music you won’t want to miss!

We will also be going back to something we used to do & having a concentrated time of prayer together for everyone watching who sends in prayer requests during the stream. It’s going to be a beautiful evening!

If you are local to the Jacksonville, FL area we would love for you to come & be in the room with us at Calvary Worship Center where we will be broadcasting live from.

Nine years ago today, I woke up when I shouldn’t have. At least, not in this dimension.

In a moment of darkened turmoil, when combined shame from traumas inflicted upon me & the destruction I had gotten myself into, collapsed all their weight over my mind, body & spirit, I did the unthinkable.

I wasn’t trying to kill myself when I swallowed that entire bottle of anti depressants & a handful of whatever else I found in my medicine drawer. I just wanted it all to stop & to sleep without nightmares for the first time since I was 5. I pleaded towards a seemingly empty heaven for a reprieve that just wouldn’t come. If you’ve ever been in that state of desperation, you understand the drowning undertow.

“I took too much,” I apparently text my mother before a quick memory flashes of her pushing me fully clothed into a cold shower. Then it all went dark.

I regained consciousness in the hospital after days of doctors fighting to clear my system while working tirelessly to keep my organs from shutting down. When I opened my eyes, covered in bruises from restraints & IV’s, seeing my father on the phone in the corner with potential therapy centers to send me next, my mom pacing the room singing under her breath in the spirit & Joel, long before we were married having flown across the country to be there at my bedside, the weight of what I had done tried to sink into my soul as deep as the shame that led me there.

But… a louder Voice rose up inside & I knew I’d been given a new beginning. I could finally see a road leading out of the shame forest. I’m eternally grateful that Divine’s intervention was stronger than my choice.

I’m eight years into this journey with Holy Spirit of being broken into wholeness. It has been the hardest work I’ve ever done, but I can honestly say I no longer feel the choke hold of the old lies.

If you’re reading this with a “bottle” in your hands, my darling friend, I beg you to lay it down & seek help. You are not alone! Healing begins with one step. I’m not proud of the step it took to get the help I needed, but I’m so thankful that Jesus saw me on the ground surrounded by stones & chose to raise my head. He will raise yours too✨
