The truth is that vouchers don't work. They take funding from public schools while leaving behind students with disabilities, Black and brown students, and kids in rural communities with no private school options.

If you try to come for our students, our schools, and our communities—we will organize, we will mobilize, and we will fight back.

I literally don’t know how we’re going to survive if things continue into next year the way they have been this year. Instead of getting better things are worst. I’ve had to close intake. Why? Because dogs like Billy are still here. Because adoptions have pretty much stopped. Because funding has slowed down. I stay stressed and I worry how we are going to pay vet bills, and just buy monthly preventative. We have an event coming up and I pray it brings adoptions and donations. We can’t go into next year the way things are currently.

We are a drowning rescue that needs everyone’s help! These dogs require care everyday. If it gets to the point I can’t give them what they need I will have no choice but to close for good. Please help us continue to be a voice for the voiceless.
No amount is too small. With 20,000 + followers just think what we can do if everyone gives one dollar.

Below is Billy and he’s been with us for 8 months. Like the other adoptable dogs in the rescue I share him and he’s on Petfinder. Like the others…he has Nothing!

Billy is fully vetted, and microchipped. This boy is as sweet as sugar. He’s around 40lbs 💙 so on the smaller side. Approximately 11 months old. Walks on a leash, loves other dogs, and everyone he meets.
