Some of you might recognize Sydney Foley, FNP-C. That’s because she’s been a registered nurse with since 2023. Now, she’s moving into a new role as an internal medicine nurse practitioner in our (also new) Waxhaw office, coming soon. 💙

“I believe that your health is a team effort and trust is the foundation of good care, and I strive to make every patient feel heard, understood, and involved in their treatment decisions,“ says Sydney. “My approach is collaborative and focused not only on treating illness, but also on prevention and education so my patients feel confident managing their health.”

Dads, make seeing your primary care doctor an annual habit – for yourselves, and as an example for your sons.

“I love family medicine because I see different generations of people,” says Dr. Jason A. Boothe, a board certified family medicine specialist in our Huntersville office. “I advise men to come in with their sons so they can get a view of what they’re doing and talking about, so coming to a doctor is not something they do only when there’s an issue, but something they do all the time.”

For internal medicine specialist Dr. Lanna Kwon, long-distance running isn’t just a hobby; it’s a philosophy. “I think marathoning is like life,” she says. “You never know what’s going to happen until race day, but the unexpected challenges and how you persevere will shape your experience.”
