Bike To DC

Kurt & Tom, friends that meet up every year cycle 500 miles from Charlotte to DC. Great riders and super human beings!

I can report that the riders were doing great and there is a sense of amazement and accomplishment that they are already sharing. It's a great cause and a great way to pay respect and remember their fallen brethren. Ride on Bike to DC!

Today is a good day to sing the National Anthem for a big crowd in Charlotte, NC and Ride a Bicycle to Washington, DC... Warming up the pipes now.

Every year roughly 80 cyclists make the trek to DC on a bicycle, riding over 100 miles a day to raise money and remember Fallen Police Officers and their families.

It is a great cause!

No plastic, carbon crud here... American Steel. Too cold to train? Put your parka on, grab a single speed and hammer on. Drop handlebars are for sissies. Try an upright English riding style, circa Mary Poppins and get your riding game on. Fill your basket with furry friends and step it up. Ride on peeps!
