Yesterday, we stepped away from our desks to celebrate Krista and Julia’s one-year anniversary with starrdesign. A great excuse to gather, laugh, and appreciate two people who make our team better every day!

Some things are sticking—smarter reservations, kitchen automation, seamless payments. Others? Not so much.

🪑 In Episode 9 of Restaurants Redefined, we’re asking a simple question: why do some tables feel better than others?
The answer is dining psychology. Guests naturally look for a sense of “anchoring,” which is why booths, banquettes, grouped tables, and even high tops near busy aisles can make a seat feel more comfortable.
Sometimes the difference between a good table and a great one is just smart design. 👏
