Local youth are making an impact right here in Charlotte!❤️
The 5th-grade students at Lansdowne Elementary IB World School were assigned a project supporting one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals focused on girls' education around the world.
These young ladies collected composition notebooks, pens, pencils, and other school supplies for the women at Dove's Nest. Many of our residents are working hard to break the cycle of addiction while pursuing educational opportunities that help them build lives of freedom and purpose.
These donated supplies will encourage and equip our women as they continue learning, growing, and working toward their goals.
What a beautiful mission and meaningful act of kindness. Thank you, Lansdowne Elementary students, for making a difference!

We want to give a huge shoutout to Ted and Bonnie, longtime supporters of the mission, who hosted a movie night for our Rebound residents this past weekend.
It is opportunities and moments like these that leave an impact on our residents.
Thank you, Ted and Bonnie, for serving our residents and spreading the love!❤️

Freedom Friday #3: Amanda is celebrating 6 years of freedom in recovery!
Amanda, a resilient and strong woman, did not allow the disease of addiction to break her.
She is a graduate of our Dove’s Nest program and does not allow her past to define her worth, which is one of her biggest takeaways when in the program.
Since graduating, Amanda has leaned on her blood family and family by choice, “I always have someone to turn to,” said Amanda.
Amanda fully relies on God. Even through hardships, the job searches, and everyday life, “I am able to trust God and be faithful even in my darkest hour,” Amanda shared.
During her free time, Amanda enjoys fishing with her family!
Amanda is filled with joy and continues to recognize how God blesses her. She serves as an amazing mentor and testament that RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE!
Thank you, Amanda, for sharing your freedom update, and congratulations on 6 years. 💙
