Before I met Lyndell, I never really celebrated my birthday. But, since his birthday is the day after mine, it seemed kinda silly to keep lowkey ignoring my birthday while celebrating his. (God knew what He was doing.)

Now, I prepare for my birthday by reflecting on what I've experienced and accomplished. This year I am most grateful for my relationship with God and how He has nurtured and matured me over the years. If you knew me in school you know ONLY GOD could have done this! LOL Ya girl was.... well iykyk. 😂

This year during a period of reflection, I felt led to finish and release the devotional I started writing 6 or 7 years ago. It's deeply personal but my prayer is that my transparent journey with God will encourage someone else to deepen their fellowship with the One who knew us before He formed us.

In the 12 years that I have been a published author, I have NEVER done a book launch event for myself. Every time an author asks me about launch events, I say the same thing, "I like making a return on my investment, not spending money on a party just to say I had one."

Yesterday at church, God began speaking to me about a launch "gathering" for my upcoming book. I replied, "God this book is coming out in a couple weeks. I don't have time to plan an event."

This morning as I walked into my office building, the owner was outside and stopped me to chat. She then asked me if I had seen the new space they renovated in the building. (Complete SETUP) Yep... it's absolutely perfect and I didn't have to do anything except show up to work.

Now, I am sharing it with all of you so I won't be able to back out. 🤦‍♀️

I've been waiting for this episode to drop! Listening to it has inspired me even though I was the one sharing! lol

Try one more time...

I've had back-to-back coaching and discovery calls this morning that have confirmed one thing for me:

"I'm on the right path."

You may see people online who are doing "all the things" and think, "I could never do that." or "They are so successful." And while the latter may be true, please know that person probably does not see themselves nearly as successful as you do AND they have probably quit in their minds more times than they can count.

As a matter of fact, if you are an entrepreneur who has quit in your head several times over the years, type ME in the comments.

Anyhoo... Here's your reminder to TRY ONE MORE TIME! If it didn't work before, go back to the drawing board. Examine what went well and what did not. Review your output versus your desired outcome. Was there a mismatch? Have you dealt with the internal parts of you that stopped you from fully going after what you want? And most importantly, have you invited God into your planning and ex*****on processes? He longs to be more than your Savior and Lord of your life. He desires to restore and revive your life and open before you the right path! (Psalms 23:3 TPT)

Adjust fire and try one more time!
