This year, we've seen several NFL players retiring from the sport, such as Andrew Luck. "It's [the pain] been unrelenting. I felt stuck in it. The only way I see out is to no longer play football. It's taken my joy of this game away."
As players like Luck navigate retirement, we hope they find comfort in this, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
