Dear Valued Guests and Friends,
After 40 wonderful years, it is with mixed emotions that we announce the closing of Fenwick's in March 2025.
Since opening our doors in 1984 in a cozy, converted Steak & Egg diner, we have been privileged to serve the Myers Park and Eastover communities with American cuisine, heartfelt service, and a place where cherished memories have been made.
When Catherine and I first embarked on this journey, we never imagined the profound impact this restaurant would have on our lives. It quickly became more than just a place to dine it grew into a gathering spot for locals and new guests alike, a space where laughter echoed, celebrations were shared, and friendships flourished. Over the years, several members of our family joined us in this endeavor, making it a true labor of love.
Since Catherine's passing several years ago, there hasn't been a single day where her absence wasn't felt deeply. Catherine was the heart and soul of this venture. Her vision, passion, and unwavering dedication to excellence laid the foundation for everything we accomplished. Her warmth could light up a room, and her touch was present in every detail, from the menu to the ambiance. While we have carried on, it's simply not been the same without her guiding spirit.
As I prepare to retire, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey we have had together.
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our community. To every guest who walked through our doors, thank you for choosing us. To our loyal patrons who returned time and again, you became like family. To our dedicated staff, past and present, your hard work and passion brought our vision to life.
While this chapter is coming to a close, the memories we've created together will remain in our hearts forever. We hope you'll join us in the coming months to celebrate the legacy of the restaurant and say farewell.
Thank you for 40 incredible years of patronage, friendship, and support. We are deeply grateful for each and every one of you who made this journey so special.
