π¨ Looking for a Veteran in Need of Home Repairs π¨
A Navy Veteran (served 1998β2003) and their amazing coworkers at a Fortune 500 company are taking on a special project β funded and completed entirely by them β to help a disabled Veteran make their home more accessible.
π The Details:
This is not funded by the VA or any government program
The work and costs will be covered by the Navy Vetβs team of volunteers
Theyβre looking for a deserving disabled Veteran who could benefit from light home modifications for accessibility
Not affiliated with Shadow Vets - just posting for a fellow Veteran - all coordination would be direct between the Veteran and their group
π‘ How You Can Help:
If you are that Veteran β or know someone who is β send me a DM with:
The Veteranβs name and contact info
A brief description of the modifications needed
πΊπΈ We may only be able to help one veteran this time, but the goal is to make a real difference for someone in our community.
Please share this post so we can connect with the right person. Letβs get this opportunity to someone who truly needs it!
π’ Looking for 5 Veterans β Test Group Opportunity
Service: Secondary VA Disability Claim Review & Documentation
Shadow Vets is seeking 5 Veterans to participate in a test group for a new service designed to uncover overlooked secondary service-connected conditions and organize the medical evidence needed for a stronger VA disability claim.
What This Service Delivers:
Full Record Review β Thorough analysis of your VA and private medical records to identify diagnoses not currently rated but potentially eligible for secondary service connection. (*Must be in searchable PDF document; VA Myhealth-e-vet blue button download is ideal)
Medical Link Identification β Pinpoint conditions with strong medical or pharmacological links to existing service-connected disabilities (e.g., GERD secondary to OSA or MDD, migraines secondary to OSA, radiculopathy secondary to lumbar DDD).
Evidence Mapping β Each diagnosis is precisely referenced with dates and page numbers from your records for clear, verifiable documentation.
Veteran-Friendly Summary β Educational report explaining each potential secondary claim, the rationale behind the nexus, and step-by-step filing guidance.
Optional Add-On β Drafting of medical nexus statements or provider letters to further support your claim.
Why Join the Test Group?
This is a limited opportunity to access the service by optional donation while helping refine it for future Veterans. Youβll get the same thorough process β plus direct communication throughout.
Ideal For:
Veterans who want to maximize VA disability compensation by uncovering missed secondary conditions and strengthening claims with organized, medically justified evidence.
π© Message us directly if youβd like to be considered for one of the 5 test group spots.
