What trends in home design are you loving right now? Here’s what the peeps over at House Beautiful say will be huge in 2022:

1. Vintage, vintage, vintage: Not only is shopping vintage a sustainable option, but it also infuses a home with a little personality.
2. The more natural, the better: Designers see a continued focus on natural, high-quality, and long-lasting materials, especially living rooms and bedrooms — an intentional choice to step away from "fast fashion."
3. Back in black: Black accents and hardware are back for 2022. While light and neutral are king still for sofas, walls, + furniture, black accents will be popping up to add contrast and depth.
4. Lighting: Natural lighting, that is. Large windows, high ceilings, and minimal window coverings are top of mind this year. Not only do they look stunning they also provide abundant daylight which can relieve stress — yes please.
5. Marble: Designers say bold, heavy marbles are inching their way into the design world, and it looks like they’re planning on staying put for a very long time.

• My road to real estate was written in the stars AND out of the blue. Here's why...
• Before (+ after) my family settled in Tampa, FL, I moved around the east coast...a lot. I grew to love house hunting and I loved seeing the wide spectrum of interior design.
• In my early twenties (ouch, it hurts to say that) I thought I’d have a career in advertising, and for a time, I did.
• Then, everything changed. The pandemic hit when I was living in Boston, things got crazy, and, frankly, I missed living near my family. So I took the plunge, moved back to my birthplace (yes, I was born here in the Queen City) and left my advertising job.
• After hustling as an agent's assistant in 2021, I took my licensure exam and have no plans to look back!
