Had a great time attending The Global Produce and Floral Show in Atlanta, GA last week! It was great to see so many of our industry friends and also meeting and connecting with new industry leaders and owners.

We love sponsoring the St. Jude Foundation and providing fresh local fruit for this charity over the past few years. Such a great morning supporting the Walk/Run Charlotte event! This is an amazing non profit organization with NC and SC communities behind the lifesaving mission of St. Jude!

October Spotlight continues with Chef Marbyn and Micah, the Front of House Manager! Marbyn is from Toronto, Canada has been in the hospitality industry for 16 years and with this restaurant group for the past 8 years. He worked his way up from Sous Chef and now the Chef of The Daily! His favorite aspect about working here are the people he gets to interact with everyday. Fun facts about Marbyn…. he loves karaoke and loves Sinatra! Also his favorite hockey team is the Toronto Maple Leafs! Make sure to check out The Daily and Marbyn’s dishes!

RESTAURANT SPOTLIGHT FOR AUGUST! Meet Chef and Owner Lou Chuchen of ! Chef Lou has an extensive background in the restaurant and hospitality industry. He’s worked at several restaurants in NYC, and also spent six years as the Executive Chef at Red Rock Casino Hotel in Las Vegas! In 2017, he opened his dream restaurant, Umami PokéRito, right here in Charlotte off of Pineville Matthews Road! You can build your own poké bowls and indulge in the freshest and most delicious sushi burritos! Stay tuned all week as we highlight Chef Lou and Umami Pokérito!
