It’s almost back to school time and with that comes the back to school jitters for many kids.

- Encourage your kids to talk about their feelings.

- A consistent daily routine can provide a sense of normalcy. Start adjusting sleep schedules and other daily activities a week before school starts.

- Teach your child deep breathing exercises or grounding techniques to help calm anxious feelings.

- Stay Involved. After school starts, stay connected with your child’s daily life. Ask them about their day, their feelings, and be there to offer support and solutions.
