It was finally warm this weekend, better time than ever to pull the Humphrey's BBQ Hot Box out and cook on it! Loaded up with The Good Charcoal Company Lump, I got these chicken thighs cooked perfectly for dinner crispy skins and all. Seasoned with Heath Riles BBQ Garlic Jalapeno and Competition Rubs, and Competition BBQ sauce! Getting closer and closer to competition time for us we can't wait to get back out there!

Heatwave in the Northeast this weekend its almost going to be in the 40's! we are grilling some steak tips on the Humphrey's BBQ Hot Box! Loaded with The Good Charcoal Company lump charcoal. We will continue with this weekend outdoor cooking tomorrow with some spatchcocked chicken on the Battle Box as well!

After heading up north to pick up our new Pint Plus from Humphrey's BBQ I made a pitstop at Sam's Club in NH to stock up on some The Good Charcoal Company lump charcoal. Fired the pint up this afternoon and its ready to cook this Sunday!

First cook of 2026, nice big rib roast. Had some snow all morning but the battle box powered through it all full of lump charcoal.

Doing my first cook on our new Hot Box. Drove up to Maine yesterday morning to pick it up excited to cook on it this winter while we prepare for 2026!

2025's BBQ season has come to an end for us. We competed in 6 events this year and learned A LOT, and have started getting some consistency with some of our turn-ins too improving after each event.

Mass in May (day 1) - 8th Ribs
Mass in May (day 2) - 6th Chicken
Trillium BBQ Throwdown (day 1) - 5th Chicken, 11th Ribs, 10th Overall
Trillium BBQ Throwdown (day 2) - 10th Chicken
Commanders Cup - 11th Chicken, 6th Ribs
Weekend of Giving - 9th Chicken, 1st Ribs

Still need some practice with Pork and Brisket to get them up to par and can't wait to start planning for next year.
