About time. This has been a pet peeve for years...new phone - a new charger, new laptop - a new charger, iPad.....etc. Let's hope the new ones are more robust and don't need to be replaced every 15 months or so!!
Europe wants to help clear out your drawer full of chargers. A European Union mandate set to begin in 2026 will require all new smartphones, tablets and laptops to use a common charger.
