A moody portrait of the parlor at Pitt Street

We never got to complete our vision for the cafe at Pitt Street but had we it might have gone something like this. Carrying the “stucco cut to look like stone” from the exterior to the interior on warm plaster walls - a square motif finding its way to shelving, tableware, square tile surfaces and influencing the general proportions of objects in the space.
