Client Shout-Out: Dylan – 120 Days Strong

Today we want to recognize Dylan for reaching an incredible milestone—120 days in recovery!

Recovery is built one day at a time, and 120 days represents four months of showing up, staying committed, and continuing to move forward even when things get difficult. Every day in recovery is a victory, and this milestone reflects the hard work, dedication, and perseverance Dylan has put into building a better future.

We are proud of the progress you've made and grateful to be part of your journey. Keep stacking those days, staying connected, and trusting the process.

Congratulations, Dylan! 120 days is a huge accomplishment, and we're excited to see what the next chapter holds.

Don't duck your recovery.

The meeting you don't want to attend.
The call you don't want to make.
The accountability you don't want to face.

Those are usually the things you need most.

Stay connected. Stay honest. Stay in the fight.

Recovery works when you work it.

Sometimes the window for someone to accept help is measured in hours. Sometimes it's measured in minutes.

At Lantern Residences, we understand that when someone says, "I'm ready," the worst answer they can hear is, "Call back tomorrow."

That's why we prioritize same-day intakes whenever possible.

We know the individuals we serve are often making life-changing decisions in real time. Delays can mean missed opportunities, a return to unsafe environments, continued homelessness, incarceration, or relapse.

Our team works hard to remove barriers by offering:
✅ Same-day intake assessments
✅ Fast communication and response times
✅ Transportation assistance when available
✅ Direct coordination with referral partners
✅ A structured, recovery-focused living environment

To our case managers, discharge planners, probation officers, treatment providers, and community partners: when you have someone ready for the next step, we're ready to answer the call.

Because when someone is ready for change, timing matters.

At Lantern Residences, we believe every person deserves the freedom to pursue recovery in the way that works best for them. Whether your path includes faith, spirituality, a clinical approach, MAT, 12-step programs, SMART Recovery, counseling, or a combination of different supports—we respect your journey.

We welcome individuals from all religious backgrounds, all beliefs, and all pathways of recovery. Our role isn't to tell you what your recovery should look like. Our role is to provide a safe, structured environment where you can build the life you want.

Different people recover in different ways. What matters most is finding a path that helps you stay healthy, accountable, and moving forward.

At Lantern Residences, you'll find acceptance, support, and the freedom to choose your own path.

No one heals without a home.

At Lantern Residences, we understand the pressure discharge workers, case managers, and referral partners face when someone needs safe, structured housing quickly.

That’s why we focus on making the referral process simple, responsive, and dependable.

We offer same-day intakes when available, help coordinate transportation for warm handoffs, answer the phone, follow up quickly, and communicate clearly from start to finish.

When you are trying to help someone take the next step, you deserve a partner who makes the process easier — not harder.

Lantern Residences is here to support the people you serve with stability, structure, and accountability.

Safe. Structured. Supported.

06/11/2026

At Lantern Residences, we believe recovery is not one-size-fits-all.

We are a MAT-friendly and medication-friendly transitional living program that respects every pathway of recovery. Whether someone is rebuilding through medication-assisted treatment, peer support, meetings, faith, counseling, structure, or a combination of supports — we believe progress is progress.

For referral partners, families, and community providers, our goal is to create a safe, structured, and open-minded environment where residents can stabilize, stay accountable, and keep moving forward with dignity.

Recovery looks different for everyone. At Lantern, we meet people where they are and help them build toward where they are going.

Recovery. Structure. Community. You belong here.

🌟 Client Win of the Day 🌟

Today we want to celebrate the incredible progress of one of our Lantern residents.

After serving a 13-year prison sentence, he came into Lantern ready to rebuild his life — and he has been doing exactly that, one day at a time.

Since entering the program, he has reached **four months of sobriety**, secured reliable transportation by getting a **moped and moped license**, and was recently released from community supervision. These are major milestones that show his commitment to independence, responsibility, and long-term recovery.

He is also preparing to start the Goodwill ICANN program on the 16th for job training, with his focus set on building a future where he can work, serve, and give back. His long-term goal is to earn his peer support certification and spend the rest of his life helping others in the recovery community.

He also shared how grateful he is for the DOADAS grant support that helped give him the time and stability needed for job placement, medical care, transportation to important appointments, and the structure needed to keep moving forward.

This is what recovery can look like when housing, accountability, transportation, medical access, and community support come together.

We are proud of his hard work, his humility, and the future he is building.

One day at a time. One step at a time. A stronger tomorrow.

🌟 Client Shoutout: Trevor 🌟

This week, we want to recognize Trevor for the incredible progress he continues to make at Lantern Residences.

Trevor came into the program and hit the ground running. He has stepped into a leadership role as a House Leader, continues to be a positive role model for others, and has remained committed to maintaining his sobriety while working toward his goals.

Since joining Lantern, Trevor has been able to get back to work, rebuild stability, and take major steps toward his future. Some of his newest accomplishments include opening a new account with a credit union, beginning the process of rebuilding his credit, and preparing to start at Strayer University in August, where he will be studying Healthcare Management.

Trevor’s dedication, consistency, and willingness to keep moving forward are exactly what recovery is all about. We are proud of the example he is setting and excited to see what he continues to accomplish.

Keep going, Trevor. Your hard work is showing.
