Another middle school math teacher wins CCSD teacher of the year! Congrats Nathalie Bennett!

The results are in from our Mathcounts Club Regional Competition.

We would like to congratulate Ella Ferguson who was 2nd in our chapter and will be attending state! Every other student was in the top 50 for our chapter which is outstanding for our first year!
John Oliver Adams and Phinley Hall placed 5th and 11th overall, again amazing!

Teachers, this Yom Kippur is on Thursday this week. Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the Jewish year. If you have any Jewish students, or Jewish coworkers, they won’t be there Thursday. Some of us spend 25 hours (sundown to sundown) fasting, and go to services Wednesday evening and most of the day Thursday (tho covid has changed that for some…).

If you’re a teacher, please do not have tests, quizzes or big projects Thursday or Friday.
