Compassion Counts

Not having many volunteer opportunities available for young children in Charleston, SC we set out to find a way to get our kids involved.

Compassion Counts was founded in Charleston, SC in 2013. Our mission is to teach our children to think outside of themselves, to be grateful for what they have, and to have empathy for others by involving them in hands on projects that will instill a sense of stewardship, gratitude, and responsibility.

HUGE thank you to Emily Brown Art for drawing these adorable Christmas Cards for the kids to decorate for East Cooper Meals on Wheels! They turned out great and the kids had a blast making them!

We are very excited to be partnering with Birthdays for All on our next event later this month. Birthday for All's mission is to brighten the lives of children in Foster Care. Our goal is to provide birthday presents to every child in Foster Care in Charleston County, and in Intensive Foster Care in Berkeley, Dorchester and Charleston County.
