Hey guys!

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Charleston Wine + Food Surf & Turf event yesterday on Bowen's Island - wanted to show you my favorite dishes from the evening. (In no order of deliciousness...)

First, was a Seared River Rock Scallop, pork belly, zucchini and sea bean salad with a sesame chili glaze from Cru Cafe.

Second, was a steamed oyster with a black garlic, chorizo butter and crispy shallots from a Boston restaurant called Row 34.

Lastly, was an awesome dish from Mansueta's Filipino Food by Nikko Cagalanan. He's local and does private dinners all around town. He had Filipino rice porridge, crispy fried garlic, chili oil and fresh Carolina shrimp. Overall it was great!

I've got more pics from last night and headed to another event today so stay tuned!
