As one of our veteran flockers pointed out, what better way to honor the memory of the inventor/designer of the lawn flamingo than by flocking a neighbor or friend?

Don Featherstone, Inventor of the Pink Flamingo (in Plastic), Dies at 79 Mr. Featherstone’s first pink plastic flamingo came off the assembly line in 1957.
