Empowering Communities: Root Down’s Quest for Sustainable and Equitable Housing Solutions | Charleston Magazine 04/23/2025

Over the past 15 years, as the public has become more aware of climate change, indoor air quality, and the dangers of red-list materials, April Magill, founder of the nonprofit Root Down Building Collective, has seen local interest grow steadily.
