Day trip to Kilkenny this morning and see this bar. Fitting. I woke up got a tea for breakfast reluctantly looked at the news and the tears welled up. To those who supported him with your vote. I can only think you don’t truly understand what the consequences will be. We may never have a moderate Supreme Court again. Guns prevail and women’s rights reduced. I worry for nato, Paris treaty agreement, Ukraine and all the hatred that will be spewed by our convicted felon leader. The chaos and corruption he brings is unbearable. So please no hate comments, there will be enough from him for the next few years.

This sums it up…
This is perhaps the hardest part about today: realizing that our fellow Americans saw all of that; watched all of that; listened to all of that, and still said, “Yes, that’s what we want.” That’s who we are.

His name is Brisket because we found him at the neighborhood bbq joint. It took a few months to gain the full trust of this feral cat. The day we took the carrier there to see how it’d go to bring him home, he shocked us when he just jumped right in. Love this little 8 lb stinker tons and tons! ❤️

Strasbourg, France, what a beauty! Picture perfect at every turn. 🩵

The Dom. It took 600 years to complete this cathedral. It’s so massive I can’t get it all in a photo. The darkest, dirtiest parts are the oldest and the lighter sections are new. It costs too much to clean, so they just replace an area when it’s damaged (Sad really). If you make it to the last photo- you’ll see the stage set up on the side of The Dom for a Jethro Tull concert that night. Tempting… but off to bed instead.

Windmills in the Netherlands are calming. There’s a 30 year wait to live in and be a caretaker of one of these beauties.
