some unfortunate news: our dear friend and fellow LCR team rider, brad phillips, was hit by an unlicensed driver thursday. he’s currently in the hospital on a long road to recovery. if you could help out in any way, it is greatly appreciated. brad is a dear friend, a great guy and all-around bad ass on the bike. we wish him the best and hope to see him shredding again soon…

welp, that’s a wrap! we had a nice little turnout tonight. a big thank to all who came out this season, all who raced, all who participated in volunteering and all who supported local cycling…and especially a BIG thank you to for getting everything together. teamwork makes the dream work. we had some of or riders make the podium: 🥉and 🥈in the CAT 4/5 race and honorary team member 🥇in the CAT 1/2/3 race. congratulations, gents! …see you next year?

Next Saturday (June 17th) Lowcountry Racing will be leading a 40 mile training ride for anyone signed up for or those interested in learning more about the event!

The route will be 40 miles. Starting from Earth Fare on Folly Road we will ride out the West Ashley Greenway to John's Island, do an out and back on Chisholm Road, then return along the Greenway. LowVelo will provide pastries and coffee afterward and answer any questions you may have about the event.

we got hit pretty hard with a few nasty thunderstorms tonight, but managed to squeeze in the CAT 5 and CAT 4/5 race. hopefully for our next race on june 22nd, it’ll stay nice and dry.
