Today was Connor Boushell's last training session with us before he starts a new chapter and moves away.
While we're excited for what's ahead for him, it's always bittersweet saying goodbye to someone who has become such an important part of our Compass Fitness family.
Connor has been the kind of client every coach hopes to work with—consistent, hardworking, positive, and always willing to trust the process. More importantly, he's simply been a great person to have in the gym. The friendships, conversations, laughs, and countless training sessions have left a lasting impact on all of us.
One of the best parts of this business isn't the workouts or the results—it's the relationships that are built along the way. Connor is a perfect example of that.

🔥 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: JOHN HAMMER 🔥
When John first came to us, he wasn't starting from an ideal situation.
He was dealing with a torn rotator cuff, a surgically reattached biceps tendon, and chronic lumbar spine pain. Most people would have used those challenges as reasons to slow down or stop altogether.
John chose a different path.
Over the past several months, he has shown up consistently, trusted the process, and focused on what he could do instead of what he couldn't.
The results speak for themselves:

Strength doesn't have a size. It doesn't have a shape. And it certainly doesn't have an age limit. 💪❤️
One of the greatest myths in fitness is that everyone is supposed to look the same. The truth is that every body is different, every journey is unique, and every victory deserves to be celebrated.
Real beauty isn't about chasing someone else's version of perfection. It's about becoming the strongest, healthiest, most confident version of yourself.
Some people are working toward their first push-up. Some are rebuilding after injury. Some are gaining confidence they've never had before. Some are simply showing up and refusing to quit.
That's what strength looks like.
We celebrate effort. We celebrate progress. We celebrate the courage it takes to keep showing up.

There’s something special about an all-female training session — encouragement gets louder, confidence grows faster, and everyone leaves stronger than they came in.
This is what ‘girl power’ really looks like: women supporting women, pushing each other, celebrating progress, and proving that strength comes in every age, shape, and stage of life.

Sometimes the smallest tools create the biggest training effect. 💪
Mini bands are one of the simplest ways to instantly increase tension, improve body awareness, and challenge stability during movement. By adding band resistance to core and hip exercises, we can create more muscular engagement without needing heavier loads.
The result? Better glute activation, stronger hips, improved pelvic control, and a core that learns to stabilize under tension — all things that carry over into better movement both inside and outside the gym.
It’s not always about adding more weight. Sometimes it’s about adding the right challenge.
