Thanks to Mike, Sandy, Tyler & Davis for pushing through to the finish line! 🏁
Which part of the country should we tackle next?
The magic lives in the minor details! ✨💡

For the last two years, Hillary has somehow managed to juggle all of these responsibilities (and about a dozen more) without missing a beat. She’s the kind of person who quietly keeps everything moving forward, making the rest of us look a lot more organized than we probably are.
If you’ve ever wondered how projects stay on track, materials arrive when they should, invoices go out, and maintenance visits get scheduled, there’s a good chance Hillary had something to do with it.
Thank you for all you do, Hillary. We couldn’t do it without you. Happy 2 years! 💜
Retirement is relative! 🛠️

Back in Maine to continue work on a favorite estate project! 🌲
A little trip down memory lane last week. ✨
Over a decade ago, the historic Unitarian Church of Charleston came to us with a unique challenge: they wanted their stunning stained glass windows to radiate during evening services, but without cluttering the interior sacred space.
Our solution? We custom-built a specialized bracket to sit atop an exterior pole, rigging it with (6) high-wattage LED fixtures. By utilizing an incredibly tight beam spread, we minimized any light bleeding into the surrounding churchyard and kept the focus entirely on the glass.
We were back on-site last week working on some new additions, and we’re happy to report that this 10+ year-old system is still shining bright. Quality engineering stands the test of time. ⛪️
A masterclass in historic preservation and modern landscape design. 🏛️✨
Originally built in 1853 this downtown home stands as one of the most magnificent properties south of Broad. When the team at Wertimer and Cline completely reimagined this historic landscape, our mission was to craft an equally sophisticated night identity.
We designed a warm, understated entry sequence—softly mirroring the architectural details of the home while gently illuminating the custom citrus trees and central ornate fountain. The lighting design purposefully transitions you to the backyard, where crisp up-lighting emphasizes the structure of the holly trees and prominently features the estate’s majestic, mature live oaks.
The result is a seamless transition from daylight to twilight that respects the past while elevating the present.

The CBA Up/Down Light.
Crafted from solid copper and brass, we engineered this fixture to deliver a perfectly controlled architectural glow while still embracing the features that embody the lowcountry aesthetic. It is the ultimate accent for high-end pergolas, pool houses, and outdoor kitchens-and it can only be found on a Moonlighting project. 🌕
