Cougar Excursion
Cougar Excursion Cougar Excursion is a three day experience in which all incoming freshmen at the College of Charleston have to opportunity to participate.
Participants are led through leadership focused activities that prepare them for a true college experience so that they can get the very most out of their freshman year. Cougar Excursion participants are able to meet friends that they will keep throughout their years at the college, and prepare themselves for the next four years of their life!

A shout out from class of 2012 student, Daniel Winters:
Hey, all my Cougar Excursion friends and prospective participants! I'm a senior, graduating in several weeks, and I worked as a facilitator and on the executive board for Cougar Excursion for several years. I wanted to take some time to share a video I made as part of a senior project for the Higdon Student Leadership Center. The video is not primarily about Cougar Excursion, however, I believe it shows how much the program affected my life. If you have any doubts about whether or not you would like to participate (on staff or as a participant) in the program, please take some time to watch this video. I have so many incredible memories from working with this program that I could never adequately express the importance of.

Any student coming to College of Charleston Accepted Students Day, check out Cougar Excursion. It's is a great program in which you learn about campus life, leadership, and make friends even before you go to class!
