Remember

Dear praying friends, in the face of growing persecution, God has kindly allowed Remember’s ministry around the world to grow. Very recently, a team returned from Jordan and the team leader/Board Member Rhett Harter provided this brief overview of their time there. As you read it, I’d like for your mind to drift to Ephesians 4:16 "...from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love."; as you consider that it is not just the edification of the persecuted that is accomplished as we go, but those who serve grow in Christ. Marka school impact: The team spent several days with the Marka school—encouraging leaders, building relationships with children, and helping bridge gaps for future student trips.

Medical outreach: We ran successful medical clinics at two Syrian refugee camps along the border and in a Sudanese community in Amman.

Vision system success: As a pilot, we purchased and integrated a vision system from Rosani. We provided newly fitted glasses for people with specific vision needs—many for the first time—followed by excitement and clear breakthrough moments. In Marka, we even stayed late at the church to give away the remaining pairs. This is proving highly impactful and could easily be added across Remember country focus areas.

Home visits & pharmacy support: Home visits were as powerful as ever. A teen on our team connected deeply with children and built strong relationships. In Marka’s transitional clinic period, we also helped supply pharmacy inventory.

Guest house partnership: Staying at the Marka church guest house proved ideal—walking distance to community life and great food, built-in connection, and meals that led to organic time with church members.

Praise report—During our last readout, we asked you to pray for a “camp boss” who had been seeking and studying Scripture. After confirmation that it was the right time, I met with him at camp B and shared the Gospel—and he came to faith in Christ, with his family present. Please pray God continues to grow and use him in his area; we’re already planning to return and disciple him.

God is clearly doing a lot through Remember—and I’m honored to serve with you. Let’s keep pushing forward.

After being unable to enter the country for seven long years, it was truly a gift to finally meet again with our ministry partners face-to-face. The welcome, the conversations, and the shared stories reminded us how faithful God is—even when doors are closed and time feels stretched.

It was so wonderful seeing the children singing praises to God. 💛🎶 Little hearts learning about Him and choosing to give their lives to Him—what a beautiful reminder that God is moving in powerful ways, even in the smallest places.

Seeing what God is doing on the ground is humbling and energizing. He is at work, and His purposes are moving forward.

We’re excited to share a new opportunity to serve Iraqi and Syrian refugees during our upcoming ministry trip to Jordan.

Through the Rosani Lens Project, we will be able to perform basic vision screenings and provide prescription eyeglasses immediately to those in need. For many, something as simple as a pair of glasses can restore the ability to read, work, care for their families, and experience the world more clearly.

To launch this ministry, we need to purchase a Rosani Lens Project kit, which costs $750. Once we have the kit, the average cost to provide someone with a pair of glasses is only about $17.

We are excited to announce that we will be returning to Jordan September 3–12, 2026, and we would love for you to prayerfully consider joining us!

During our time there, we will have the opportunity to minister to refugees—many of whom were displaced by the violence and persecution carried out by ISIS and Hezbollah. This trip will include opportunities to serve through children’s ministry activities, home visits, encouragement and outreach, and a small medical component.

While in-country, we will also have the opportunity to visit several historical Biblical sites, experience the Dead Sea, enjoy camel rides, etc. (The first picture below is what Moses saw from Mount Nebo looking into the Promised Land.)

No matter your background or skill set, there will be meaningful ways for you to serve and make an impact.
