👨‍🍳 Meet Chef Mike!

Most people know Chef Mike as the 5’6 chef from our basketball post, but there’s a lot more to him than his height. 😂

Chef Mike’s love for cooking started at a young age, learning from not one, not two, but three Southern grandmothers. That passion eventually took him all the way to Switzerland, where he continued developing his culinary skills.

When it comes to favorite foods, Chef Mike is all about BBQ and Southern comfort classics. 🍖🔥 And if you see him sporting Buffalo Bills gear this fall, just know game day is near! 🏈 Don’t worry, he’s cheering on the Bucs too!

A few fun facts about Chef Mike:
⛰️ Rock climbed the big walls of Yosemite and skied across Colorado
🌎 Graduated high school in Singapore and college in Switzerland
✈️ Has lived in four states and visited more than 15 countries

So yes, Chef Mike may be 5’6”… but his stories are a whole lot bigger than that. 😎

Billie, our talented baker, is keeping the cookie trays full by baking more than 1,000 cookies every day for our SummerSalt campers. 💙💛

From Sugar Cookies and Chocolate Chip to Snickerdoodles and Carnival Cookies, we’re serving more than 250 of each flavor daily to help keep nearly 1,000 campers fueled and smiling. 😊🍪

🥗 It’s National Fresh Veggies Day, and who better to spotlight than Ms. Tee from our Salad Bar!

Meet Theresa Mitchell, better known around the Caf as Ms. Tee. She has been with Aramark since 2011 and loves serving students with a smile every day. Her favorite meals are fried shrimp, fish, and red rice. When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her enjoying a good book or singing. Ms. Tee is also the proud mother of a son who works as a guidance counselor.

What does she enjoy most about working at CSU Dining? The students!

Good news, Bucs! We’ve extended our weekday lunch service by an extra 30 minutes! 🎉

Lunch is now served until 1:30 PM Monday–Friday, giving you a little more time to grab your favorite meal between classes, work, and summer activities.
