Vintage Moroccan rug! This stunning short pile piece from the Zemour tribe (named after the Berber word for “olive”) is a rare find. Neutral tones, bold geometrics, and deep symbolism woven into every inch—each motif tells a story words can’t.

We still have a few rugs left, which I call the cream of the crop. These rugs were in the back of the shop and were never offered to the public; they are Jamal’s favorites ;)

A quick lighting guide by 💡 and our vintage Moroccan is in it’s new home 💜

“There are three basic types of lighting:
-Ambient light (photo 1) is for overall illumination (chandeliers, recessed)
-Task light (photo 2) focuses down where work is done. These provide the most concentrated light and include lamps and undercounter lights
-Accent light highlights objects indoors and outdoors (e.g., sconce above artwork, light above front door)

In this dining area, we swapped out a task light for a chandelier that defines the space and provides overall illumination.
➕Put all your lights on dimmers. It’s one of the most inexpensive ways to switch up the mood of a room.
