Thanks to some truly incredible people this week, we were able to pull three very sweet 4-month-old sisters from the shelter and give them the chance they deserve. 🤎

Meet Elena 🐾

Elena is a beautiful 4-month-old Lab mix with the fluffiest brindle coat. In the sunshine, her coloring has the prettiest chocolate tones mixed throughout. 😍 She and her sister were found as strays before making their way to the shelter, and now they’re officially safe with Dusty Tails!

Elena is a little shy when she first meets you, but give her a little time and her sweet personality comes right out. She loves to play, loves other dogs, and once she decides you’re her person, get ready for ALL the kisses. 🥹 She’s your typical happy-go-lucky puppy—playful, loving, goofy, and just excited to experience everything life has to offer.

And because we believe in making sure our dogs are properly protected and identifiable before heading into their forever homes:

Leila came to us from one of our rural shelter partners after being found as a stray. We may never know what her life looked like before she found her way to us, but one thing is certain: she hasn’t let her past change her sweet spirit. Leila is loving, affectionate, and happiest when she’s right by her people. 🥹💗

At just 16 pounds, Leila is the perfect little companion with a BIG personality. She enjoys her walks and adventures, but we think she would truly thrive with a couple who is slowing down in life and looking for a devoted little girl to share their days with. Someone who enjoys quiet mornings, leisurely walks, cozy evenings, and having a little shadow by their side. 🥰

Leila would love nothing more than to be your one-and-only princess — soaking up all the love, attention, cuddles, and kisses she can get. 👑💕 She is very food motivated, too, so a few tasty treats will have you wrapped around her little paw in no time! 😂

This adorable 3-month-old spayed Treeing Walker Coonhound came to us from a rural shelter alongside her siblings, Moonshine and Sweet Tea. 💛

Lemonade is the definition of a puppy! She loves to play, cuddle, and soak up all the attention she can get. 🐾 She’s still working on her potty training, but she’s learning more every day and is ready to find a family who will be patient, loving, and excited to watch her grow.

With her playful personality and sweet, snuggly side, Lemonade is sure to bring plenty of fun, laughter, and love to her forever home. 🍋🐶💕

This sweet boy is around 9 months old, neutered, and still very much a big goofy puppy. He is loving, silly, happy, and genuinely one of those dogs who can make you laugh just by existing. Kevin’s biggest priorities in life are being included, getting attention, and making sure everyone around him knows that he loves them VERY much. ❤️

He has that classic Lab-puppy energy where his legs occasionally move faster than his brain can process, personal space is merely a suggestion, and every day is quite possibly the BEST DAY EVER.

But Kevin also has a little independent streak. He likes being the king of his castle and often does best when he has his own space to call home. 👑🏰 He’s perfectly happy doing his own thing, ruling his kingdom, and occasionally blessing his subjects with his presence. 😂

Kevin is looking for a forever family who will embrace all of his goofy puppy antics while continuing to give him the structure, training, patience, and love every young dog needs. He has so much potential to become an incredible companion — we just can’t promise the elevator will ever make it all the way to the top floor. 😂

He doesn’t need to be smart. He’s handsome. 🫶🏼

Popsicle is a 4-month-old Coonhound mix who has been waiting far too long for the one thing he wants most—a family to call his own. 💙

Popsicle originally came to us with his brother and two sisters when they were just tiny puppies. They have grown up with us, and now, at four months old, they’ve been waiting since they were just 8 weeks old to find their forever homes. We simply can’t believe this sweet boy is still waiting. 🥺

Popsicle is an absolute love! He is incredibly social and adores kids, other dogs, cuddling, playing with toys, and being part of the action. He also loves hanging out and watching birds, and honestly, he’s just your typical happy, goofy, wonderful puppy. 🐶💕

And he’s already off to a great start—good on leash, housebroken, and crate trained! 🙌

What we DO know is that Loretta Smallflavor and Carolina Little Dream are two of the sweetest little babies. 🥹💕 They are incredibly loving, affectionate, happy girls who are soaking up every bit of love and attention they’re finally getting.

At only a few months old, these girls have already experienced being unwanted and without a home. We don’t know where they came from or how they ended up as strays, but we know exactly what we want the rest of their lives to look like.

We want these babies to find TRUE forever homes. The kind of homes where they’re not just a dog someone adopted, but a genuine part of the family.
