MDC is hiring new apprentices to work in the Charleston area. We're an electrical contractor primarily serving the high-end residential and light commercial markets. This is a small but growing company that values its employees and believes in maintaining a work-life balance.

All Candidates must:
-Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.

Ideal Apprentice candidates must:
-Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
-Be able to follow basic instructions and safety guidelines
-Communicate with clients and other trades in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
-Possess the necessary hand tools for general electrical work
-Be able to perform basic installation tasks (install fixtures/devices, make up boxes, pull wire)
-Construction experience and/or general mechanical aptitude are strongly preferred, but not required

MDC is seeking Electricians and experienced Apprentices who wish to join a growing company that values work-life balance and places an emphasis on employee safety.
-Apprentice candidates must have a minimum of 3 years electrical experience with at least 1 year of commercial experience strongly preferred. Reliability, efficiency, and a strong work ethic are a must.
-Electrician candidates must have a minimum of 5 years electrical experience with at least 2 years of commercial experience strongly preferred. Must be able to start and complete jobs with minimal supervision, read blueprints, be knowledgeable of national and local codes, coordinate with other trades and the GC, and possess the critical thinking skills necessary to resolve on-site issues creatively and quickly.
-Basic hand tools, valid drivers license, and reliable transportation are required for all positions.
