Wednesday: SPC has placed the region in a 1/5 Marginal (Isolated) Severe Risk. If morning showers can clear for afternoon sunshine, a few strong cells may form from the 3-6PM timeframe. Look for a few 60+ gusts and quarter sized hail. More cloud cover would limit severe threats!

We fall into the 40s overnight in the Kanawha Valley. Look for patchy frost to form in outlying spots in higher elevations and away from rivers, especially mountain areas and interior portions of Ohio.

*FREEZE WATCH in effect for parts of Pocahontas & Randolph Counties tonight!

Mother's Day: Mild with temps in the mid 60s and breezy south winds. A pop-up shower or storm is possible by evening, but chances appear scattered at most. Your driest time will be early, and keep an eye to the sky for evening. A quarter-inch of rain will accompany any storms!

The East End Yard Sale may see a few unwelcomed showers early Saturday AM, but NOT a washout! Just enough rain to wet the ground at times. A pop-up tent may come in handy, but cover valuable items at a minimum. Partly sunny skies and drier conditions near 70 set in after noon.

Cool and into the 60s for the rest of your Thursday! Nice outdoor weather with decreasing cloud coverage and some sunshine this evening. Look for a quick cooldown after sunset with dry air and temps falling into the 30s with morning frost chances for east areas & valleys!
