Regional action in the capital city saw Capital deliver early and often, erupting for a 12-run first inning to put the game out of reach.

Regional action last night as Shady Spring pulls away for the win.

Shady Spring was led in the circle by Raelynn Williams, going the distance (7 IP) allowing 2 ER with 1 K. At the plate, Ryleigh Helmer (C) finished 2-3, while Brinlee Cales (1B) added a run and 2 RBI (1-4).

For Capital, Faithanna Hall tossed a complete game (7 IP) with 4 K and 3 ER, also driving in a run at the plate (1-3). Alex Smith (RF) and Amiyah Robinson (CF) each went 1-2 with an RBI.

A complete effort from Hurricane to secure the win over Capital. Sophie Dunlap delivered in the circle with for Hurricane with 6 strikeouts across 5 innings, surrendering just 2 hits.

At the plate, Hurricane’s Layla Hodges (SS) went 2-4 with 2 runs scored. Emma Justice (CF) added a 2-4 outing with 1 run and 1 RBI, and Kiley Jones (1B) chipped in going 2-3 with 1 run and 1 RBI.

Capital was led by Katie Crowder (SS)1-3 and Ella Sedosky (1B) 1-2.

Capital delivered a dominant Senior Night performance last night, highlighted by a no-hitter from Faithanna Hall, who struck out seven.

Senior Katie Crowder (SS) led the offense with a perfect 4-4 line, scoring twice and driving in one. Senior Reese Lovern (2B) added an RBI, while Ella Sedosky (1B) finished 1-2 with 2 RBI, and 2 runs.

Paetyn Hartwell recorded four strikeouts for South Charleston.

FINAL: Capital 6, Tolsia 2

Capital controls the game from start to finish to earn the win at home.

Capital’s Faithanna Hall delivered in the circle with 5 K’s and backed it up at the plate (1-2, 1 run, 2 RBI). Amiyah Robinson was 2-3 with 1 run and 2 RBI, while Lilly Hall added 2 runs scored (1-3, BB).

Tolsia got a strong effort from Kiara Salmons—9 strikeouts in the circle while going 2-4 with a run. K. Preece went 3-4 with an RBI, and C. Johnson chipped in two hits (2-4).
