The thing about real estate is that it's very go-go-go. It's easy to just keep rushing to the next thing without stopping to notice where you are.
Today, I got to take a look back at 2024 as Josh and I ( The Beall Team ) were honored to receive two awards at the Corcoran McEnearney Agent Awards Brunch. One for $15+ million in sales and one for the most listings for a team!

Did you know the City of Charles Town has a Tree Board? They do! And they are always happy to have more volunteers!
These are a few photos I took at one of their tree planting events, at Evitts Run Park in Charles Town a couple weeks ago. They partnered with the Cacapon Institute to put in a bunch of trees along the creek. I went by again today and they are looking good!

I had to take a photo to document the very first time I was handed a paper contract for our buyers' home purchase! Back in the day (so I'm told), before everything was done by email and e-signing, agents used to drive paperwork back and forth and meet up face-to-face a lot more.
Although I love the convenience of emailed contracts, there was something kind of fun about doing a paper handoff in the Sam Michaels parking lot before running in to take the kids to soccer. 🤣 Thanks to Jamie Watson for the great listing and for all his work-- this home closed earlier this week and we have very happy first time home buyers! 🎉
