🐍 Copperhead Snake Awareness in Northern Virginia
As temperatures rise, copperhead snake sightings become more common throughout Northern Virginia, especially in wooded areas, mulch beds, landscaped common areas, near retaining walls, and around bodies of water.
While copperheads are venomous, they are generally not aggressive and will usually avoid people when given space. Most encounters occur when a snake is accidentally startled or approached too closely.
This quick video provides identification tips, safety reminders, and practical ways to help reduce snake encounters around communities and commercial properties.

Looks like we've got a new Capitol Property Management brand ambassador! 💗🧢
