To help your student be ready for their musical experience this school year we:

👉Bring folders for all of your classes to hold their music

Our Rental Credit Program offers progressing musicians an opportunity to apply 100% of the base rent you pay for your first twelve months, plus 50% of your base rent for the life of the rental toward the purchase of any instrument in our shop. 😮

This is NOT a rent-to-own program. Rarely will a student musician want to purchase the instrument they start with. As they grow in their musical journey they will need an instrument that can grow with them.

There are spaces and communities where the sound of a symphony orchestra is never heard. Have you heard of DC Strings? It’s a nonprofit in the greater Washington DC area that offers underserved communities the chance to experience the power of classical music through youth education, programming & performances.

Last weekend was the final performance of this DC Strings Workshop Season 7. That’s seven years of performances, grants for teachers, music education for students, donations of instruments, and so much more.

A mother and daughter entered our shop with a violin case in hand. The mother smiled and said, “Our teacher told us she needs a new violin.”

Looking at the case in the girl’s hand, it was obvious the violin was too small. We opened the case and sized the girl.

She definitely needed a bigger violin.

Teachers are really good at letting students know if the instrument they are playing is too small for them.
