Founded in 1993 and recognized as an official national program of The American Legion in 2007, American Legion Riders each year take to their motorcyles and raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for various Legion and local programs. Description
The National American Legion Riders page is designed to serve as a forum for Legion Riders to exchange ideas, share success stories and simply connect with other Riders across the country. It's also an opportunity for National Headquarters to share information with Legion Riders regarding events like the Legacy Run. We're just maintaining it for you. Make the most of it. General Information
To be eligible in The American Legion Riders:
• Members must hold membership in and be in good standing with The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Sons of The American Legion.
• Members must be legally registered motorcycle owners or be the legally registered owner's spouse within the state of registration.
• All operators must be properly licensed and insured per state laws.
• All members must obey motor-vehicle laws in the state in which they are operating a motorcycle or riding as a passenger.
