The World Cup is in full swing, and after a big U.S. win, people are starting to believe.
That’s what makes this FOX Sports campaign so smart. It doesn’t ask fans to analyze odds or predict how far the team can go. It taps into the feeling that makes sports so powerful in the first place: the tiny voice that says, “Wait…what if?” For brands, that’s the lesson. The best work doesn’t always need to convince people with more information. Sometimes it just needs to capture the emotion already building in the room and give it somewhere to go.

The conversation around AI in marketing is starting to move past experimentation and into accountability. Coca-Cola tracking weekly active drinkers, Hershey using real-time data to guide media decisions and United building an employee creator program all point to the same shift: marketing teams are being asked to connect their work more directly to business growth.
That is a good thing for the industry. The strongest marketing functions will not be the ones using AI just to move faster. They will be the ones using better data, sharper measurement and more real-time consumer insight to make smarter decisions and prove why marketing belongs in the room where growth decisions are made.
