Having let the transformative power of improv for myself and having been fully immersed in it the last 5 years, I couldn’t help but try to do some thing with it. So, here I am, doing it. 🤩

A few of you have been asking if we are doing any Christmas Displays this year and the answer is…a little bit!

With life and work and a wedding happening in our backyard, I have determined that I have the energy to craft 1 Christmas Display this year and be open for 1 weekend!

I will be re-creating the “White Christmas” display this year and will open up appointments for the weekend of 12/5-12/7! We will do $50 per appointment. If you are interested, send me a message or email at [email protected]

A lot of folks have been asking about Christmas Displays this year so I have to announce that I will NOT be doing Christmas displays this year. After doing them for about 7 years, I have to admit that I am burned out and need a break! The amount of work it takes to make them, arrange it all, take pictures, and take them back down has made me begin to dread Christmas and that makes me so sad because I LOVE Christmas. So I am taking a break! I may or may not do it again next year. I am giving myself the grace to see how this season goes and how I feel next year.

Thank you to everyone that has been coming every year and who has turned this into a family tradition. I will miss seeing you and hope that you find somewhere to take incredible pictures!

It feels like December and flown by and we cannot believe Christmas is only a week away! 😳

Thank you to all that came to PhotoCaide this holiday season! It was so great to see so many familiar faces and some news ones as well! Our holiday season has officially closed and with that, we want to wish you all Happy Holidays!

So great to see so many familiar and joyful faces this past weekend! And many more to come in the next couple of weekends as well! 😍

Okay so quite a few have asked me what I do besides PhotoCaide and I realized that I have never mentioned it!

So PhotoCaide is a fun and creative outlet for me. I do it because I love setting up displays, I love taking pictures, and I love the joy it brings to families (parents specifically) when they get those pictures that are hard to get!

But in my regular life, a year ago my amazing friend and I quit our full time executive roles at ASU and launched our own Human Centered Strategy & Consulting firm: DesignConvo. So when I am NOT making displays, I am helping leaders, teams, and organizations collaborate, solve wicked problems, design strategies that put people at the center, and run leadership intelligence workshops! 😊 🎉

So great to see so many familiar faces again! There are families that have been coming to our displays year after year and it is such a wonderful thing to see how kids change, our families evolve, and to be a part of those memories!

“It’s simple, easy, and the kids have fun” is the best thing to hear from people. Photos shouldn’t be a stressful experience. It should be joyful and fun…with a camera near by capturing it 🤩😊
