What are dehumidifiers used for?

Whenever you run across water damage, a dehumidifier can be a critical part of drying a structure. It's purpose is to remove the air borne water which in turn lowers the relative humidity and promotes a more favorable drying environment. When used in conjunction with air movers, this two part system works very efficiently to quickly dry the structure.

Our featured piece of equipment for the week is the DriEaz Revolution dehumidifier. This dehumidifier is known for providing great performance in a small footprint. It produces a water removal capacity of 80 pints per day while only drawing 6 amps of power. These units are great for residential jobs where only a room or two might be affected and you can also pair multiple units together to tackle larger projects. In this size category we believe this is the best unit on the market and have many in our fleet available to rent. If you need to rent restoration equipment, we are a resource you can count on.
