CU One-to-One Mentoring Program

Happy Volunteer Week to all our mentors in Champaign Unit 4 Schools and Urbana School District #116 ~ none of this happens without you!

We appreciate all the hours you share with our students - the number for one year is impressive - one hour a week sure does add up

Big thanks to Parkland College Health Professions for hosting our middle school mentees jobs field trip. The students (and their mentors!) had a great time learning about so many possible careers.

The hands on labs are so cool! Mentees had the chance to give a shot (to a robot arm), listen to a heartbeat and other body sounds on a robot (pictured), see the inside of an ambulance and do a relay race in the Occupational Therapy space (pictured). Did the mentees or mentors win the race?

You probably know a CU 1 to 1 mentor - and we have upped your chances with 62 new mentors trained this spring!

C-U One-to-One mentoring program connects students with their community C-U One-to-One is a unique program, connecting students with mentors over many years of their lives. Mentees are first connected with a mentor when they are between third and sixth
