๐ Another win for our members!
A unit recently attempted to non-reappoint a member without providing the contractually guaranteed grace year they are entitled to.
Thanks to the work of our Grievance Committee, the issue was addressed and corrected โ and the member has now received a revised notice that properly includes their grace year.
This is a powerful reminder that our contract works when we enforce it. When members speak up and we stand together, we protect fairness, transparency, and job security.
Thank you to our members for your dedication to defending our members and holding units accountable! ๐ช
