A cool start to the work week -- air temps in the 60s at all ICN stations at 9am

Soils beginning to dry after a very wet few days in central IL. ICN Peoria received 5.89" over the last week, causing soil moisture at 2" to more than double and moisture levels to increase down to 5'.

A wet weekend for central IL -- rain totals > 3" at several ICN stations. ICN Monmouth received 5.13", bringing its August total up to 9.45" as of 8/16 or more than 6" greater than its long-term average for the month.
