the vanna wagon is back!

we need name ideas for this beautiful baby!

i had such a great time at the Art Educators Conference yesterday! a huge thank you to .uiuc and everyone who made it possible, i left with a whole new concept of what it means to be an art educator.

main take aways :
- ask, ask, never stop asking. you won’t get what you want if you don’t ask for it
- befriend the janitor (i literally think every speaker said this)
- have a crazy idea? ask, ask, and ask again until you make it happen
- build your curriculum around the interests of yourself and your students
- ask
- trying something new is the best thing you can do. don’t be afraid to fail
- build connections in your community, blur the lines between the classroom and the rest of the world
- incorporate the ideas of student, faculty, staff, parents, and others in the community to your artwork
