Last week we helped to create a Memorial Garden for our friend Lydia Davidsmeier. Lydia was a UIUC student majoring in Earth, Society & Environmental Sustainability, and Horticulture. She was involved in many environmental and social justice organizations in the Champaign-Urbana community. She passed away in May 2022. Other contributors of Lydia’s Memorial Garden include: Amensty International UIUC, Common Ground Food Co-Op., and Students for Environmental Concerns.

Congratulations to all 2023 graduates!

These three graduates sported our service honor cords at their ceremonies this weekend. Together, they volunteered 738 hours outside of their designated roles in our organization! 👏🌱
