Out on the project, crews recently opened the new I‑20 westbound to I‑285 southbound flyover bridge and the I‑20 westbound connecting lane. The new connecting lane will move your I‑285 decision point east of Wesley Chapel Road. Check out these bird’s‑eye‑view photos!

🚧 FULL WEEKEND CLOSURE ALERT 🚧

Beginning Friday, June 5 at 7 PM through Monday, June 8 at 5 AM, all lanes of I-285 NB/SB will be CLOSED between MLK Jr. Dr. (Exit 9) and Cascade Rd. (Exit 7).

⚠️ Expect major delays across metro Atlanta, including I-20, I-75/I-85, and SR 166/Langford Pkwy.

🛑 No traffic will be allowed through this section during the closure.

Expect 2 right lanes to be closed on I-285 NB/WB and SB/EB from S Cobb Dr. (exit 15) to Hollowell Pkwy (exit 12) beginning 7 pm, Friday, May 29 to 5 am, Monday, June 1.
