Had to do a little maintenance on this Bass Mods bass yesterday and thought we should upgrade those power cells to something a bit more Kick-Ass.

This was pretty gross when it came into the shop but we got it back to where it should be. Starting with a tear down and deep cleaning, we gave the frets and fingerboard some much needed love, replaced that pesky broken switch, replaced the broken tuning machine, and 3D printed a custom set of black k***s. After a set of strings and some intonation work this bass is ready!!!

Sometimes building something really awesome requires dangerous tools, like lasers and contact cement. Always remember to wear your protective gear and have proper ventilation.

We just got back from an amazing weekend at the 2023 songwriters festival on the Gulf of Mexico in northwest Florida. From big venues to small, the people there to support these artists were literally lined up out the door wrapping around every corner. .l.ritter .hells

We did some experimenting with candy flip flop paint and some hi-hats today. Are the green or are the purple?!?!?
