Meet Erin.

Erin Blair Morand has officially joined The Hamlin Group as our Design & Selections Coordinator — the seat that shapes the soul of every project we build.

Her résumé reads a little differently than most: four years as a professional ballet dancer with City Ballet of San Diego, principal roles in Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, then a pivot into residential design that brought her most recently to Floor and Décor as a Senior Designer. What ballet taught her — discipline, precision, and never settling for “good enough” — is exactly what she brings to design.

A Milton native, Erin is back home with her husband Basile, their 130-lb Polish Tatra Shepherd Napoleon, and a rescue cat named Willow who tolerates approximately no one.

She’s a Braves fan, a freelance dancer, and as of this week — one of us. 🤍

Welcome to the team, Carter.

Carter joins us this summer as a Field Assistant — a recent Magna Cum Laude graduate of Whitefield Academy, headed to Liberty University this fall to play lacrosse as a goalie. If you’ve spent any time around the position, that tells you most of what you need to know about how he handles pressure.

Today we hit pause on the grind and spent an afternoon together as a team—celebrating the year we’ve had, pretending we had skills at putt putt, and enjoying time outside the jobsite.

It was a chance to show our appreciation for nearly five years of dedication from Kevin as he heads into his next chapter in the industry, and to share our excitement in welcoming Emily to The Hamlin Group family.

And in a moment I didn’t expect—but absolutely needed—my incredibly supportive wife reminded us why this company is called The Hamlin Group. It was never meant to be about one person. It’s about what can be built when the right people come together, support one another, and move in the same direction.

I’m deeply grateful for this team and for those who support what we do every single day.
